Pheasants are bred to be shot. If it wasn’t for the guns they wouldn’t be there.

Sometimes takes its metaphors too far / extends its analogies. But overall is a really fascinating depiction of a woman under severe pressure. Can’t help but compare it to Phantom Thread because of Jonny Greenwood and all the beautiful dresses.  💃🏻🎻

Observational documentary about women who feel compelled to quilt. Parallels those who are compelled to make documentaries, painstakingly piecing together to create meaning. :) Lovely time machine.

I’m nodding off hardcore rn so I don’t know if I’ll make it to the end of this movie. Some thoughts before sleep takes me away from this trash:
- I love it
- I hate it
- practical effects are glorious for the most part
- NOT the greenscreen falkor scenes :(
- so poorly edited and paced
- these kids are so dumb
- literally falling asleep as I eerie erhis do beiivn

Steve Martin two scenes prior: After my day working as CEO, I just love driving my Aston Martin through white Californian suburbia and rolling up to my four bedroom house with its ivy covered trellises and perfectly manicured lawn 😎

Me: *thinking about how we could probably squeeze into a studio apartment for $2600/month if we got some kind of bunkbed/crib combo, but then realizing that’s still out of our budget by a grand* 🫠

Literally no better movie to watch when you’re sick. ♥️

This movie manages to turn the goofiest premise into quite a lovely and surreal experience. Very good movie to watch late at night. 🍿

Very good. Slows down a lot towards the end but feels justified in doing so. There’s a lot to dwell on here and I’m going to do just that.

Absolutely bawled my eyes out at the epilogue.

love the setup. execution is 👎. a few funny lines here and there can’t save the nasty vibe.
